On September 11, the SmartStream project advanced the digital transformation of industry with tests of a new high-performance RFID RTLS reader at MIRANDA’s facilities.
SISTRADE, as a consortium member of the project, was also present to follow the experimental session. The tests focused on how the new antenna could complement the RFID system installed in May, currently in the integration and fine-tuning phase, evaluating coverage, accuracy, zone identification, and compatibility with MIRANDA’s internal systems.
These practical trials highlight SmartStream’s innovative approach, ensuring solutions meet the needs of a digitalized, efficient, and traceable production environment. The results will guide technical adjustments and support the ongoing development of MIRANDA’s RFID infrastructure.
SmartStream is part of the AM2R Agenda, which includes several cutting-edge projects in the field.
