Sistrade, a member of the TEXP@CT consortium, participated in the event “Digitalizar com Impacto na ITV”, organized by CITEVE on November 14th. The event aimed to highlight the importance of digital transformation as a catalyst for sustainability and competitiveness in the textile and apparel industry, bringing together industry leaders and experts to exchange knowledge and showcase cutting-edge innovations.

The day-long event featured keynote speeches, panel discussions, and demonstrations, focusing on how emerging technologies are shaping the future of the sector. Topics such as automation, artificial intelligence, consumer-focused platforms, and digital skills development were at the forefront of discussions, emphasizing the critical role of collaboration in driving progress.

One of the event’s highlights was the presentation of results from the TEXP@CT project’s Work Packages (WPs), where Sistrade showcased its key contributions. For WP3 – Direct to Consumer (D2C), Sistrade unveiled its cloud-based platform, developed to support textile and apparel companies (ITV sector) by analyzing user sessions and offering actionable insights into client behavior. This platform also incorporates access to pay-per-call services created by other WP3 partners, including recommendation models and an advanced virtual fitting room. These innovative tools are designed to enhance the end-user experience, improve decision-making processes, and provide new ways for consumers to interact with products.

In WP4 – Data Interoperability (IDS), Sistrade focused on its developments in ensuring seamless data exchange and interoperability for ERP/MES systems and other enterprise solutions. These advancements aim to establish a cohesive digital ecosystem that enables efficient connectivity and promotes collaboration across the value chain.

During the live demonstration segment, attendees had the chance to interact with prototypes and operational models of the solutions being developed under the TEXP@CT project. This hands-on experience provided valuable insights into how innovations like those from Sistrade are transforming industry practices and setting new standards for digital integration.

The TEXP@CT project underscores the need for a unified approach to digitalization in the textile sector, aiming to make it more attractive, sustainable, and competitive. Events like these are vital for fostering collaboration and ensuring that stakeholders are aligned in their goals for innovation and growth.
