Project Description

Main objective – NIS has in view the creation and promotion of an R&D structure in a collaborative, consistent and formal way, between SISTRADE and the entries of the Sistema Tecnológico Científico INEGI and ISEP, fostering cooperation for research and creation of technologies framed in the new paradigm Industry 4.0, namely in the terms of wide digitization of products / processes for the manufacturing industry. It is intended to cooperate in the preparation of a strategic R&D roadmap for SISTRADE and to strengthen ties that can launch future national or international R&D / R&DT projects.

Goals – The development of intelligent algorithms to be applied in industrial processes, the development of augmented reality solutions in an industrial environment, the development of improved application usability solutions in the context of Industry 4.0 and the development of a strategic R&D roadmap.

Achieved Results – Generated detailed mapping of typical functions that can bet automated of semi-automated with artificial intelligence methods and algorithms, new integrated framework and new domains of analysis, new algorithms for business analytics and multi-agent artificial intelligence algorithms applied to the automation of previously characterized industrial tasks. Conception of methodologies and rules guide for Human Machine Interface development and web-design of adaptive interfaces.
