Objective:

The Design2Transform project is part of the PRODUTECH R3 Agenda, that aims digital solutions for Lifecycle Management and Development of Sustainable & Circular Products. In this project, SISTRADE plays the role of a technology developer, working alongside with INEGI and other partners, with JPM, CEI, DESAFIOS EM SINTONÍA, and VISTA ALEGRE as demonstrators.

In the increasingly urgent context of well-structured and implemented digitalization processes, PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) solutions become indispensable to managing the updated flow of information/data throughout the stages and processes of the product life cycle, from its genesis, through development, manufacturing, implementation, different phases of use (including maintenance management, updating, retrofit, etc.) and end of life, always with guaranteed traceability and data consistency.

On the other hand, with increasingly complex products, it is essential to adopt management models, with the systematization of processes, via facilitating software for managing multidimensional product development, and with teams with multi-speciality skills.

In this context, this transformative project will encourage the application of DfX-type tools (Design-for-X or Design-for-eXcellence) with a strong systematization character and focus on quality, which is a clear added value for the competitiveness of companies. Additionally, it is necessary to increasingly integrate modularity and standardization strategies, where, for example, methods that facilitate Design for Manufacturing, Assembly, Modularity, Cost, Sustainability and Circularity, are increasingly important.

PPS 1: PLM Software platform.

PPS 2: Lean DfX Software.

PPS 3: DESAFIOS EM SINTONÍA mechatronic equipment for the Health Sector and Personal Protective Equipment.

PPS 4: CEI mechatronic equipment for the Ornamental Stone sector.

PPS 5: JPM mechatronic equipment for the Intralogistics sector.
